Connection customers

Reserving or increasing capacities: So everything goes according to plan.

You can reserve exit capacity in our transmission system if you are an industrial customer, operator of storage, LNG and production facilities or of gas-fired power plants to be connected to a gas transmission system. You can also increase your connection capacity if your facilities are to be expanded.

To make reservations, the operator must meet certain prerequisites in accordance with clause 8 of the determination KARLA Gas 2.0 and provide OGE with:

  1. A short description of the plant concept and/or the expansion measures
  2. A brief outline of the current state of the authorisation process
  3. Date and time of the first gas offtake

Reservation is possible

After receipt of the complete documents, we review the enquiry within two months. If the reservation is possible we reserve the necessary capacity in the network. For this, the customer will need to pay a reservation fee. Depending on the type of system, this will amount to 20% of the entry/exit fee valid for booking at a corresponding entry or exit point at the time the reservation agreement is concluded. The fee will be charged upon a subsequent firm booking. The capacity reservation expires if the exit point is not booked and confirmed within three years after receipt of the reservation declaration by the transmission system operator.
